Don’t let the name fool you, the Fancy Free packs a solid punch. This cocktail is essentially a derivative of a Manhattan, substituting the sweet vermouth for Maraschino liqueur and with the added kick of both orange and angostura bitters.

The flavour ends up being fuller and slightly sweeter than a Manhattan, but no less delicious!
Ingredients
2 oz bourbon
½ oz maraschino liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters
1 dash angostura bitters
Orange twist or maraschino cherry to garnish (optional)
Combine the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir until chilled (about 30 seconds), then serve straight up in a coupe or in a rocks glass over ice.
